Still Works Standing Orders

A Shopify app by App Still Works

In review with the Shopify App Store.

The sourdough comes out of the oven at six on Saturday morning. The coffee is roasted Tuesday and picked up Friday. The farm box is packed the morning it goes out. If you run a shop like that, you are not really selling bread or beans. You are selling Saturday, and Still Works Standing Orders is the part of your store that understands the day.

What it does

Still Works Standing Orders lets your customers set up a regular pickup or local-delivery order on a day of the week you choose. One sourdough every Saturday, picked up at the counter. You decide when orders close, how many you can make, and which days you are shut. Each morning you get one list for that day: what to make, how many, and who is coming for it. Thursday's bake is exactly what Thursday's customers pick up. The app handles the billing too. Each order is charged once and never twice, and a failed card is tried again on a set schedule, not forever. Customers can skip a week, pause, change their day, or update their card from their own account on your store, without emailing you.

Made to sit beside Classes

Still Works Standing Orders is the first app from the studio; Still Works Classes is the second, built for the same counter. A bakery that sells a loaf every Saturday and teaches a class on Tuesday night installs both, and the locations and closed days it typed into one can be copied into the other in a minute.

Hear about it on launch day. Email jon@appstillworks.com with your shop's name and you will get one note when Still Works Standing Orders is ready. Nothing else. No list to unsubscribe from.

About the studio

App Still Works is one person, Jon Barney, in Salt Lake City, Utah. The person who answers your support email is the person who wrote the app, the same business day, Mountain Time. Every app is built to be small, to do one job well, and to leave your data where your store already keeps it. The privacy policy and terms are short and written to be read.
